AG Jeff Sessions announced on September 5, 2017 in a press conference that DACA has been rescinded. US Citizenship and Immigration Services will not accept DACA initial cases as of September 5, 2017, i.e. they will not accept cases that are filed for the first time or renewals that are filed one year after their DACA has expired. Those DACA cases that have been filed before today will be adjudicated on a case by case basis just like before. Anybody whose DACA expires between today and March 5, 2018 can file. Their application has to be accepted by USCIS on or before October 5, 2017. Call us at 859 233 3840 for an appointment. We are prioritizing DACA renewal applications this month. We need to see clients before September 28, 2017 to file timely.
