Explanation of Our Services

Our office cannot help those who are trying to get legal immigration status through their employer. It also cannot help those seeking to apply for a temporary or non-immigrant visa such as a visitor's or student visa – though we can refer you to others who can help.

The following are the broad categories of cases we are currently accepting (due to limited resources, these categories do sometimes change):

* Asylum
* Cuban Adjustment Act
* Family-based petitions
* Families of Asylees & Refugees
* NACARA 203 (for Salvadorans and Guatemalans)
* Naturalization
* Permanent Residence ("Green Card")
* Persons in Removal Proceedings
* Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
* U & T visas
* VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)
* TPS (Temporary Protected Status)

Many of our attorneys and staff are bilingual, so we are able to offer legal assistance to non-English speaking clients.

Intake Procedure

All first time clients must come to our office for a FREE consultation to speak with one of our attorneys or caseworkers. Our consultations are held on the second Wednesday of each month, between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. No appointment is necessary.

Outside of our consultation hours we do not accept “walk-in” clients.

Fee Schedule

We may charge a minimal fee for our services. The amount of the fee is determined by the type of service provided.

No one will be denied services for inability to pay.
